A new laboratory with more than 25 years of experience for the cannabis industry in California
The Group AGQ Labs, founded in 1993 and with a presence in more than 25 countries (in the United States our company is AGQ USA), will open in the coming weeks a new laboratory in Goleta, Santa Barbara County, focused entirely on the hemp and cannabis industry. The accreditation under ISO 17025 with The International Accreditation Service entity (IAS) is currently in process, as well as the authorization of the Department of Cannabis Control.
AGQ Green Nature has almost 6,000 square feet of facilities, and state-of-the-art instrumental equipment, with liquid-mass (LC-MS) and gas-mass triple quadruple chromatographs (GC-MS), ICP-MS, and PCR technique, among other equipment. AGQ Green Nature’s analytical range fully covers the needs of the entire cannabis industry and its value chain from growers to distribution.

AGQ Labs has been operating in Oxnard, California since 2012. During these years it has become one of the reference laboratories for fresh produce growers in the state of California, especially in analysis of pesticide residues, heavy metals, and agronomic analysis. It is precisely in agronomic services that AGQ Labs provides the most differential services to the fresh produce sector.
Among these services is the Crop Nutritional Monitoring patented system, which will now be suitable for cannabis cultivation. It is about adapting the needs of water and fertilizers to the real demand of the plant. On the other hand, this monitoring system also allows to correlate fertilizers with THC and CBD levels, in addition to guaranteeing a more sustainable and environmentally friendly production.
